Exactly.

I have a TBI, and on my worst days, I can't read at all. Words and numbers don't make any sense to me. It could be written in cuneiform for all my brain can process it.

I do not judge those who don't enjoy reading the first place. In fact, I suffered a little of that coming out of college. English major courses killed my love of reading for a while.

Now my occasional inability is really grating, but at least I'm alive.

I have the same problem. Luckily it seems to be wearing off now and I can read more without going into trudge mode.
