I'm pretty sure you're supposed to want to punt Sera off a building. She's the one character you never lose the option to kick the hell out of the Inquisition, so they clearly knew going in that some players would loathe her.

(He was also the lead writer for Carver in DA2, so 'abrasive character you'll either love or loathe, but won't be indifferent to unless you never talk to them' is something he's done before.)

I LOVE CARVER. Carver has layers! Sera is just... annoying and immature. It makes me really uncomfortable you can romance her. She acts like she's ten the entire time. I liked the concept of Sera, but the execution was so utterly childish and there was no growth whatsoever (then again, I think maybe Cole and Cassandra were the only companions who actually felt like they had real growth arcs).
