(Anonymous) 2014-12-21 06:00 am (UTC)(link)To be clear, I am not actually saying that everyone's criticisms are always right or polite or kind, or that even all of them are coming from the place I mentioned, just that for some of them it's possible, since I don't believe I'm all that unique. I don't disagree that some people on the intertubes take it wayyyyy too far, but identifying that underlying process can be useful if you ever want to communicate with that one friend who seems a little too vehement.
