I share your feelings, anon. I love Sera, with all of her warts (internalised racism included, mostly because I can see my Latino, younger self in her), but I don't like how the narrative just glosses over them or plays them as something "cute". I love romancing her with an Adaar Inquisitor, but I don't like how some of the scenes seem to be... very male gaze-y.

On one hand, I think some of the criticisms are really blown out of proportion, but I don't like telling people how they should feel; on the other hand, some fans of Sera just like to put their hands in their ears and call her a "flawless queen" which really makes a disservice to the character, imho.

TL;DR: I have too many conflicting feelins regarding her and the fandom.
