Do you honestly think this is how professionals work? Okay. Go to an art gallery and offer them $5 for the most expensive piece of art on their wall. If they won't give it to you (and they won't), then shrilly insist that you're the customer and you're entitled to demand the lowest prices. Tell them this is how professionals do it, so they should take your $5, give you that painting and be grateful.

Okay, that's kind of a ridiculous comparison. The same thing would happen if you went to a car dealership and tried to pull the same shenanigans. That's just silly.

lol you made me laugh thank you. I'm trying to picture my friends who sell art professionally (no, they are not fanartists) doing this.

Professionals do it all the time. From your example, I don't think you actually understand what haggling is. What you are describing is throwing a tantrum.
