Parents have to make their own choices for their kids, not you.

And yet any parent that makes those choices without considering the child's POV is a jackass. Don't tell me there isn't some choice your parents made for you way back when that, as good intentioned as it seems now, it still kind of pisses you off to remember it because it was so against what you wanted. Was it always worth it?
