(Anonymous) 2014-12-22 02:30 am (UTC)(link)I liked Gravity and I didn't find it remotely glacial AT ALL. My heart was pounding wildly in my throat the entire time and I don't think I took my eyes off the screen for a second, let alone have the breather space to check my watch or move positions, from 10 minutes into the movie until the very ending.
Gravity was as far from "glacial" as you can get.

That movie was so suspenseful and tense for me. Not once did I think it was moving too slowly.

(Anonymous) 2014-12-22 04:25 am (UTC)(link)I saw Gravity and thought it was okay, but it was very slow for me. Alternatively, Brokeback Mountain was amazing, and I thought perfectly paced. Though not really a movie you can watch in a loud theater, probably one better watching alone somewhere quiet.

Of course, I love BBM, so I might be biased.
