Well, that's to be expected. If city governments don't hold their agents accountable, someone outside those governments is probably going to enforce what they see as necessary consequences.

I'm not saying these police officers deserved that. But the NYPD has been alienating the people of NYC for years, and a low-grade war on cops is pretty much what they've been asking for.

Reading more, I wonder if this is a false flag, though. If you're going to kill two cops, why a Chinese-American and a Hispanic?

Maybe this was done by a racist for racist reasons.

Still, the NYPD and NYC government created a situation where this would look like a good idea to some scoundrel.
