It really sucks that so many people have this experience, and it kinda boggles me. Like, I drink, and many of my friends do, but there are many who don't as well, and my SO doesn't, either. And it's...not a big deal. It's just, "hey, want a beer?" "Oh, I don't drink." "Oh, okay. Want some soda?"

I mean, shit, the other day a girl I know who can't and has never had a drink because of the meds she's on was like, "am I missing anything?" And all us drinkers were like, "nah, not really. Here's a bunch of things that are better than drinking."

I dunno. I've never seen the kind of pressure a lot of people talk about, even back before I started drinking (I started in my early 20s which is later than most people, it seems) and I wonder why. I also think the pressure that people talk about is just so ridiculous and childish.
