And people who don't understand that dark text on a light background or light text on a light background, or pretty much any text on a busy, colorful background is HARD TO READ.

How is dark text on a light background hard to read? That's the default for pretty much everything, including this site.

I think they meant dark text on dark background (seeing as they followed with light on light in the next example). Yes, dark text on a light background = books! Easy to red. :)
