The comment I replied to is part of a conversation that included:
"So then in your view, when the sixth Harry Potter book was released, people who were posting in the Internet, or putting up highway signs, or yelling at people standing in line for the book, about how Snape killed Dumbledore did nothing wrong?
After all, they got the book legally and it had already been released, so it seems to pass your test."
My question in the last line was because I didn't know if anon was talking about actual book spoilers for books that just came out or if they were bringing up other shit from other days (based on the rest of the thread). It turned out to be the latter, actually.
