This. Worf is a bit stuck-up, but I don't see anything jerky about him.

And Faramir is a good guy. That's his whole point in the story. The fact that he doesn't fall for the Ring and manages to do what's right and help the Hobbits, even though he must've considered the Ring a great asset to save his own people.
