Lily Rabe is a bitchin actor. Has she ever been nominated for an Emmy or GG? Damn shame if not.

She was nominated for a Tony for the play Merchant of Venus and for some Drama Desk awards for theatre too. The only tv related noms were for the Online Film & Television Association and Critics Choice for AHS.

I know it's a typo, but I really want there to be a play called "Merchant of Venus" now. It sounds both awesome and like a thing that should totally exist.

A sci-fi re-imagining of A Merchant of Venice? I'd watch that, with pizza and margarita shooters.

oh man, I should check stuff before I click post! I must have Sci-Fi on the brain. lol

Google says there is actually a "merchant of venus" but its set during Prohibition in New Orleans and not sadly, on a distant planet. Boo.
