I don't think so, it just seems there are less people participating. Considering it's the holidays and most people are probably busy, that seems natural to me.

Eh, maybe so, but that seems to be pretty typical too. We have slow periods. I guess you could speculate we won't 'snap back' from it, but people come, people go...it's to be expected.

People have been saying we're on the decline since I got here in 2010. Seems like a pretty damn slow decline.

Part of that is the endless barrage of trolls. I've said this privately to some people but I'll say it now -- a lot fewer people would leave if IP logging was permanent than would leave because of the sheer toxicity trolls bring to this place.

I wouldn't count on that. There's a lot fewer secrets on the days that IP logging is on.

This, and it wouldn't surprise me if there were more people like me who were planning to post more/get an account before the trolls arrived.
