It's not entitlement. People are asking for common courtesy, especially for recent spoilers, especially given this is an international fandom community where not everyone can see.

"posts MAY contain spoilers" is not the same as "feel free to post spoilers". It means that Case simply cannot be aware of ever single fandom here and won't moderate for it.

We always had "spoiler Fridays", and it was always considered common courtesy to mark for recent spoilers - as far as I can remember, going for a few years. If anything, the number of unmarked spoilers has increased, not decreased, even though we're a much smaller community now.

And it's definitely worse now, with "spoiler trolls" deliberately spoiling if anyone dares comment on it.

No, not all spoilers can be avoided - but if you deliberately post them untagged - you're an ass.
