They went extinct. Over hunted. Probably left with the dragons. I'm pretty sure. Them and brownies. Has anyone ever heard of brownies?

Hmmm. Aren't there still brownies? Maybe their food source dried up.

Great, now I'm thinking about brownie environmental disaster.

Their populations were thriving up until the late 90s. Then there was some sort of mass social change that made their habitat and food supplies vanish. People stopped giving them food, and were refusing to have them in their own houses. Ah the thought of those poor creatures out in the cold because of an imposed change, it just makes me want to spew.
