I've never had a crack ship become canon before. I mean, I just saw it as a crack ship cause samesex never becomes canon so everytine there was interactions I saw as romantic I kept just reminding myself that hetero writers = hetero scene and I've never been so happy to be wrong!

I'm glad they confirmed it so quickly, like ripping off a bandaid and getting it out of the way.

Same, I was never expecting it to actually be canon(because same-sex relationships never get to be, so even when I'm in full down-the-rabbit-hole shipping mode I still know that really, it's not supposed to be taken that way, but I can still enjoy shipping it regardless), or to even have the last scene which while not overtly blatant was not exactly what I'd call strictly platonic either. And tbh I was expecting Korra to not be romantically linked to anyone and have it be open-ended on that front, and I would have been happy with it like that because I could still merrily ship-away whatever I wanted.

But then we got the last scene and then actual word-of-god confirmation and I just... I am stupidly happy it's unreal.
