You know, I'm getting real tired of judgemental female anime fans looking down on moe works. How about you watch a few slice of lifes before getting on your high horse about how "fetishistic" they are? For the record, I'm a 21 year old decidedly non neckbearded female.

Yeah, I like slice of life anime. I thought moe just meant "ridiculously cute" but I guess for some people there's more to it? Or maybe there's actually more to it and I am just ignorant, idk.

K, yeah. +1

Lots of anime that are called "moeshit" aren't like that at all. They have cute art, so what? The story could be really nice, and the characters are great, with no fanservice/ecchi/fetishiscm.

People see "cute art" and automatically look down on it. Not just girls/women, either. Men do it too, who think their taste is "so superior."

I also get extremely annoyed at male fans who see an anime with a mainly male cast (even if it's intense sport) and go "ALL MALE CAST!!! GAY FUJOSHIT, FOR THE FUJOSHI I'LL PASS" and variants. uhggggggggggg.
