Re: Types of Characters/Character Tropes You Hate

I can grow to like jerk with a heart of gold characters if the balance between jerkiness and caring is right. But if the character can be more accurately described as "jerk who's sometimes nice to the one person they care about" then I probably hate them with a fiery passion.

I also think characters with a hero complex are difficult to pull off without being incredibly annoying.
