An Asus. I've had Sony, Dell, HP, Apple, etc and don't really know if the brand matters that much, so I just bought something that I knew should run Dragon Age: Inquisition on recommended smoothly. It does so I am pleased with my purchase. (It's so fast, omg, and I have more ram and memory than I should ever need, lol.)

That's awesome. I upgraded about a year ago from 4G ram to 6G and the difference is really amazing. (I take it this is a laptop?)

Actually no, it's a desktop. IIRC my old computer had 8G of ram and this one has 13. (Which is ridiculous I know, but I didn't even upgrade the ram; it came like that.)

My old desktop was quite old in computer years though (we're talking five, maybe six years). It ran fine to browse the web and play older games, but it was getting outdated.

Ram makes such a big difference, it's true! I've never made such a big leap before, but even two gigs is going to be noticeable.

ahh, that makes a lot of sense! And yeah you're going to get way better specs on a desktop.

I love my laptop - it's a Lenovo and it runs games surprisingly well - but I really want to build a gaming desktop when I'm able to do so. It probably won't be for a few years - I have a Grown Up Job now but it doesn't pay that much, so, you know, long-term goal ^^;

I love the portability of a laptop, but now that I'm no longer a student, I don't take advantage of that nearly as much as I used to.

Laptops are awesome! I've actually never owned one, but I've always wanted one; they're so convenient! I buy desktops because I want to be able to keep them for years and like having the option to upgrade, but they can get expensive easily. They're def an investment.

Hope you're having a nice day! (The post hasn't went up, so... Haha.)
