(Anonymous) 2014-12-25 04:21 am (UTC)(link)I'm quite enjoying the adaptation, but the emphasis is on adaptation. There's no way they could adequately condense the whole novel into a weeks' worth of half-hour episodes, so I went into it with that in mind and it's not too bad.
How it might be for someone who wasn't familiar with the novels and couldn't fill in the blanks though... probably not so good.
