lol

I mean, unless you have actual evidence in which case please share

Wow, an Eureka secret!
That guy in a T-shirt is way too muscular. What's he doing in a nerd town? Hmm, I don't remember him. I guess he wasn't in the first seasons.
So... the other 10% tell that is not a real place. It's good 10%, listen to them.

Oh, that's Zane. He ended up with Jo.

My above comment was not an endorsement of him ending up with Jo, by the way. I thought she was cute as hell with Taggart. But they played up the cop/criminal love trope and that up there happened. But, then again, Allison had chemistry with a grand total of no one and she managed to have three kids with three different guys (two of which we know are incredibly hot and also had insane chemistry with each other, damn it).

I adore Eureka but I don't think the writers knew what to do concerning hooking them up. The only thing they did do right was give Henry a good ending after all the shit they did to him with Kim.

Fargo deserved better than a vague notion that he was going to Warehouse 13, where he and what's her face might have a chance. He could have totally had Jo, too, and been completely happy being absolutely ruled by her. Or he could have made peace with Larry after all those years and hooked up with him.

And Carter/Stark, like, forever. Damn it.

Jack/Nathan is such an amazing pairing. Hm, the reason why I stopped watching it is related to this ship.

Eureka concept is fun, with all the science staff, experiments mishaps and general quirky fluffy mood.

I'm partial to Jo/Fargo for some reason.

btw, did they hook up Zoe with anyone?

I just care if Carter and Stark are real and, if so, I need to know the possibility of a threesome with them.

If you mean places where breakthrough technology is developed...

(Anonymous) 2014-12-26 02:05 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, those exist. And sometimes there are R&D companies near smaller towns, though usually they aren't too far from bigger cities. And there are some weapon testing sites out in the middle of nowhere for obvious reasons. And then there's DARPA projects. And thinktanks. But something specifically like Eureka, probably not.

OP here.
The logical 10% of me can see where you're coming from...Eureka is just a metaphor for all the innovations in America and beyond. But then there's 3D printers.
Just another example of us moving steadily ahead to the future, right? Well, I have a friend (who is considerably smarter than myself) who told me about the tech about 5 years or so before the general public became aware. Now, if I track down the inventors, and scour scientific journals for their papers, I could probably find where my friend got the info. But it would make so much more sense that my friend was interning at Global Dynamics and overheard something while on a lunch break.

Eureka secret! I miss this show.

+1

I don't think you're wrong.

And here I assumed OP meant there is probably a cafe called Cafe Diem.

I know there's one in my home town, and it's probably not the only one!
