My Jewish dad's childhood best friend (who is Buddhist) always comes over on Christmas day. We had a giant pan of lasagne and lots of holiday cookies.

Gotta make more cookies this weekend for when my sister's family visits over NYE. I'm not sure what all we'll make to eat when they come, aside from this wild rice and mushroom soup I've been wanting to try.
