Yeah I'm still somewhat pissed off about it, though not as much as she is, I'd wager.

My guess was Jaybie Jarret...? If memory serves, she had a really vicious troll that always jumped on her whenever they had an opportunity to do so. Even to this day, they sometimes goe 'Hi, Jaybie' whenever something about OCs are mentioned or a secret is related to OCs in general. I never understood why that Anon went after her as harshly as they did... seemed really petty and vindictive if you ask me.

I really am serious in saying that whoever did that is a bad human being who should look seriously at their life.

I also kinda feel guilty we didn't do enough to try to stop them

there really wasn't anything we could short of ip banning them and even then they could get a proxy

i kinda wish people would have gone more the ignore route, i get the impression that anon was doing it for attention or take make this place miserable in the long run

I think we didn't because it started as what seemed a banality that escalated quickly.

Yeah, we didn't even realize it was a troll until the arguments got dumber and dumber, and then when we did all try and ignore him or her, the troll kept cropping up anyway. I think if Jaybie and/or those of us defending her had caught on from the beginning, it wouldn't have been an issue, but unfortunately this troll was sneakier.

Unfortunately there's several named users with personal stalker-anons, so I think it's just become so "normal" that people don't see it as a problem anymore. I mean, if you think about it, Case has his hater/haters (because he's clearly the worst mod in the world and he's selling our IP info to satan?), Chard, Noodles, Dethtoll.... p sure comradesmiler? idr who all gets hit with them.

Honestly it's 90% of the reason I won't post logged in on F!S.

I'm similar - initially it was because I had fandom unpopular opinions I wanted to be able to express freely and bluntly, but now I'm glad I've remained mostly anon.

I had haters back when this place was more SJW but nobody really dedicated to me like the other ones have had. And I actually tried to piss people off! Maybe I just wasn't a fun enough target? But yeah, don't put me in with those folks, honestly I can't pretend I ever had it as bad as them.
