(Anonymous) 2014-12-26 04:38 am (UTC)(link)Cadash is my favorite Inquisitor option.
Why can these two things never meet? :(
(I can sort of understand why not Adaar, because my thought process upon rolling a fem!Adaar and seeing the default appearance on my first crack at chargen was literally "why is there a desire demon...Oh, okay", but the gating against dwarven Inquisitors will always and forever baffle me.)
Re: Which pairing would you want made canon as a holiday wish?
Dwarves have always been my favorite race to play as in Dragon age though. I went through Origins at least four times as a dwarf, haha. I find their culture interesting and like height differences. Cullen/Cadash would've made my Christmas... I rolled a human for him and while I like her, it isn't as enjoyable for me. I like playing as a cute, badass dwarf. I too am rather short, so I feel a connection with them, lmao.
And Cullen is such a Disney prince that I can see why you like him. He's changed a lot from Origins, and his romance is very traditional and sweet. I enjoy it way more than I imagined!

(Anonymous) 2014-12-26 02:26 pm (UTC)(link)It's the sweet more than the traditional that really does it for me wrt Cullen's romance arc. I'm fine with romances that veer off the beaten track, but I need to buy that the characters are genuinely in love if that's what the story's trying to sell me.
Also I apparently have a thing for LIs you can play competitive games with, since my favorites in a more general Bioware sense also include Garrus and Traynor.
Re: Which pairing would you want made canon as a holiday wish?
I like sweet romances too. My favorites tend to be a bit goofy and sweet, hence why Alistair will probably always be my favorite. I was pleasantly surprised by how caring Bull came out though, so I'm very fond of that romance, but Cullen is very convincing in his love and attraction. I definitely feel like that one is one of the best in the game.
I never romanced Traynor (nothing against her, but I've honestly only played ME3 all the way through once..) but the Garrus romance was sweet. I didn't care for the way it kicked off in 2, but the scenes in 3 were way better. The chess scene with Cullen was lovely.
