I loved Dan Well's Partials books. I'm not sure where I found it (maybe you were the one who recommended it) but I couldn't put it down at all. I sat outside and read the whole series in the course of a week.

I've recc'd it a few times, but I only got into it because of someone who made a secret* about it (and it happened to be in the nearby store so I grabbed it that day). It's quite an enjoyable read!

*the secret was about some tv show i was heavily disappointed in and how (the secret maker) had wished Partials had been made into a tv show instead.

Oh it would have been a fascinating TV show. Can I ask which one disappointed you?

Yeah sure, I wasn't intentionally being vague - forgot what it was called XD
*quick google* 'Revolution'

I was really excited about it from the adds (post apoc tv show!!!) and I ditched it in the premier. Bad acting I can deal with, same with bad science - but entirely too predictable which I >:( at.

Looks like it made it to 2 seasons then got cancelled.

Funny it's the show because I loved the show but only because of the premise and I just couldn't let go of it. It was pretty terrible writing and the acting got better, but the writing did not.

I have a thing for post apoc anything. I have devoured most of the books about it (some are way better than others)

*major déjà vu*

Haha now I remember! You sent me a bunch of recs via msg one time. Discovered anything newer to share in the past 6 months?

All I've got to add is Terry Brooks Armagrddons children - postapoc fantasy? But not bad.

Oh wow completely forgot about that! I haven't discovered anything recently, but I will definitely keep my ears out.
