this omg. For every time I've met a vegetarian/vegan who chastises others about eating meat (maybe twice in my entire life) there are about a thousand meat-eaters who make some joke/snide remark about me being vegetarian. okay, eat twice as much meat to make up for me. yes, I murdered plants for my salad. yes, all that Peta animal rights stuff is bullshit. yes, you're right, carbon footprint was invented by liberals. ugh.

I've had the opposite experience. Sure, I've met plenty of obnoxious meat-eaters but I've met equal amounts of obnoxious vegans. (Vegetarians not so much...) I've actually had people take food from me in high school.

Frankly I'm of the "eat what you want, more chicken for me" response. Just don't judge me or take my food away or you're gonna have a bad time.

Well, I've only encountered one deaf person, but they were also really obnoxious. Being a dick to everyone and making up horse shit justifications for it.
