I get it, OP. You ship Sterek, and the creaters constantly say "it's not that kind of show." You ship Destiel, and the relationship is constantly joked about in canon. You ship Johnlock from BBC Sherlock, and the "no homo" jokes happen about once an episode if not more. It's not even that fans don't respect slash pairings, it's that the shows that know about their fandoms don't bother to respect them.
