it really, really isn't. I mean, livejournal fandom was also 99% women, and that's pretty much what this community was founded in. I'll grant there could be a couple of guys, but it's pretty incomprehensible that it could be anywhere near 50/50.

10+ named guys? who? among regulars, that is, not people who came here two years ago.

dethtoll, noodles, case, mechanosapience, cabrynchysomething, herpymcderp, comradesmiler, gondremark, the_missing_y, and probably a few I'm forgetting. there are also a couple of guys who pop in less frequently such as al[numbers]. and of course at least a few male anons.

so I got 9 named regulars and probably forgot at least one...yeah

do we know scrubber's male for sure? i don't think they've ever clarified.

Pretty sure Scrubber isn't male? Someone brought them up in one of these same threads a few weeks ago and they responded to clarify. (I am 90% sure one of those people was Scrubber, anyway. I know the other was Bigpaw.)
