I think I watched AtlA too late, I just couldn't get into it. I enjoyed the world building and I love the artbook and some of the more worldbuilding fics, but I didn't get too attached to the characters or their lives. :c AtlA was certainly better written than LoK (i guess cause they had a whole team and not just two people, but i'm glad bryke eventually took on 1-2 criticisms because 3-4 were much more enjoyable) but the LoK world and characters appeal to me more (even Mako lol).

Ditto. I'm a wary media consumer but it's received such a good reception, I think as long as bryke get a say in it (UNLIKE A CERTAIN MOVIE) it should be ok.
(I want vacation comics! Also Mako/Bolin bro comics! and WHO IS LINS DAD)

I can get behind that. I think the comics worked out well for me because as much as I like the characters and bending, the sociopolitical aspects of both shows are what appealed to me most, and those were basically the center of the comics.

I will be severely disappointed if there aren't vacation comics. (Or as I told my boyfriend, I will be totally okay with the sexualization of women if it's these two women sexualizing each other. :P And I have headcanons about what happens if you have sex in the spirit world.)

Also, I'd like to hear about those headcanons you mentioned.

Namely that the spiritual applications of the Kama Sutra take on a whole new level when it's applied in the spirit world. :P A lot of the sexuality stuff in the Kama Sutra is basically meant to be healing. Largely "spiritual" here in the real world, but once you take that and put it in an actual spirit world...

Also, spirits are all voyeurs who do not understand or care for human nudity, privacy, and sexuality taboos. If humans are going to wander into the spirit world and put on a show, then the spirits are damn well going to enjoy said show. :P

The first spirit I thought of was Koh. Can you imagine having sex in the spirit world and your eyes happening to land on him as he watches and then your partner looks back at you to see your face gone?
