The real weird thing is how much Uther seemed to ship Arthur/Morgana early in S1 when he knew they were half siblings.

I didn't mind Arthur/Gwen once they were established, but the actual falling-in-love part was so contrived and awkward.

As for Arthur and Gwen, contrived and awkward is perfect. I got Gwen's pining, but Arthur? *shrug*

When she met up with Lancelot, all I could think was how perfect this was! But no.

I mean, some of the awkwardness was cute, like Arthur learning how to be humble and stuff, but I was referring to stupid-awkward stuff like iirc at one point Gwen falls on top of Arthur with her boobs right up in his face. That sort of thing is just contrived and awkward not in a charming way).

Oh, okay, I see what you mean! Yeah, those moments were unnecessary. While I liked it when Gwen would be honest with Arthur/he would learn humility, etc., I felt there could have been more fluidity to the relationship.

I just didn't feel the connection one hundred percent (probably like eighty seven on his part as the show went on), but maybe that was just me :/
