Chris-chan heading to court...again

I'm honestly surprised he hasn't been institutionalized yet after hitting that shop owner with his car and burning his house down. But it looks like he might be going away now.

He's been 'waging a war' against Sonic Boom for the past few months, because he doesn't like that Sonic's arms are blue. So, his 'waging war' meant vandalizing/hiding Sonic Boom merchandise. This lead to him being banned from Game Stop. Chris, after being told this, and being the asshole that he is, proceeded to pepper spray the employee who told him he was banned. The pepper spray, which knowing Chris, probably wasn't even pepper spray, ended up seriously injuring the employee. It's also illegal in his state in most cases, so he's due in court over it.

if you want a bit of context, chris-chan is a neurodivergent middle aged man who gained internet attention from his sonic/pokemon comics, iirc. he makes a lot of videos and some of them are disturbing. most people only know of him because 4chan/ED/etc mock him relentlessly

to be fair he has assaulted and harassed people in the past and his neurodivergence doesn't excuse most of it. what he did recently (with the pepperspray & assault and stuff) definitely deserves a courtroom appearance.

look, when you act like a complete asshole, set shit on fire, and seriously injure people then you deserve to catch shit for it. there's only so much that can be excused by being autistic. I have several family members with autism or asperger's and none of them act in such an appalling way.

I think the chris-chan hating has gone way too far on some occasions (like when someone trolled him into thinking they were a girl interested in him and got Chris to post a tape of him having sex with a sex doll which got like three million views and a lot of mockery. That was just disturbing and sad) but I can't blame people for criticizing him when he actually terrorizes and assaults people

Yeah...people obsessing over him after all these years makes me really uncomfortable. Even if he is mentally ill, the fact that his illness is being used as entertainment fodder is unnerving.

You should see the video someone got of him pepperspraying the employee. They told him they would call security, so he tells them not to 'call anybody'. He then stomps out of the store and peppersprays the employee as he walks by, really spitefully.

It's a rabbit hole you don't want to go down. I didn't learn about him until a few years ago when he tried to murder a shop owner for not letting him into his store.

I still feel weird about watching this trainwreck. He reminds me so much of a severely autistic kid I used to tutor. (It was virtually impossible to spend more than an hour in the little twerp's company without wanting to slap him, but still, severely autistic.)

I just hope he gets institutionalized, personally. His mother isn't going to be around forever, and this isn't the first time he's assaulted innocent people before.

Woah... That's a name I haven't heard in YEARS. I never followed him or his story that closely (outside the Sonichu comics), but reading the comments I'm actually surprised.

I wish I could say I'm surprised but sadly I can't. :\ I also sadly think he's beyond help at this point and it's worrisome.
