I can't even say I'm disappointed that Arthur/Gwen happened because it was so obvious the show was going to go there eventually; I can't imagine otherwise. IMO it was terribly written (especially the introduction) and never really improved (so I never grew attached to them together), but again...I expected that.

Arthur/Merlin, Gwen/Morgana, Morgause/Morgana, Mordred/Arthur, Uther/Morgana...I would've rather had any of those, but that's what fanfic is for I suppose.
