This might be mine, too, if I had to pick one.

Or, well, it wouldn't have to be arranged marriage, but in general, a situation where they were forced to work/live/otherwise exist together - bonus points if they don't like each other at first.

I WISH I had fandom recs. Mostly I scratch this itch with terrible romance novels (surprisingly common in 'inspirational'/Christian romance novels).

lol, that...does not sound like something I would like. But if it does it for you...

I have a fic that's not for a pairing I actually ship but I find it really interesting because it does deal with an arranged marriage. I can rec it if you like. It's Harry Potter, Lucius/Ginny. It's a WIP unfortunately, and I don't think they ever ~fall in love~ (not that I really want them to, with THAT pairing) but it's just interesting to see how they deal with it. Neither of them is happy at all, initially.

One does what one must. Sometimes it's nice to turn your brain off for an hour or two!

Although you've reminded me there was that 'Marriage Challenge' in the HP fandom that resulted in lots of just this sort of fic for a while. I'm pretty picky about pairings in that fandom but maybe I'll look through the responses again!

I seen to recall having seen them in fanfiction dot net? There might be a community....

It was called the Marriage Law Challenge, and I think it was originally Hermione/Snape but got expanded by other people who ran with it.

Hmm, I hope so, since I don't really love Hermione/Snape (I don't really ship Snape with anyone now that I think of it...). But I'll look and see if I can find the challenge!
