I like lighthearted stuff myself, as well as more serious fandoms. What I like about kids' media is the simplicity of characters. Like in some fics Thor always says:
'Thy cupcake is verily good!'
But in kids' media it's a canon.

Some comedy series aimed at all ages are just as silly, btw. (Get Smart, Sledgehummer, Perfect Strangers).

It's also fun to work out How and Why. For example, try to explane why there are secret animal agents in P&F.

Anyway, silly fandoms are nice, in part because the fans don't take themselves too seriously. (SPN, Sherlock) So it's more relaxed. At least that's been my experience.

Aaand maybe the OP likes to get submerged in happy idealized worlds so they pick this type of fandoms? Or the OP is 13 and is actually in fandoms for 13 year olds.
