It's like I made this secret in my sleep. Except I don't really give a fuck about giving girls a bad name or whatever. I also want to see what happens to the plot and the characters, not being constantly mortified.

Just today, I shocked my brother by killing a boss in Dragon Age in like a minute when it took him a much slower time on another level. When I told him I'm playing easy, he said "oh GOD" and had this appalled look on his face. I just shrugged and shushed him so I could hear the cutscenes.

I do wish there was less weirdness about difficulty modes, both for guys and gals (and other genders!) My brothers seemed so concerned about doing shit the harder way they can and embarrassed when they have to lower the bar. I like to believe there are a lot of ~~hardcores~~ who secretly play in easy or normal but keep it quiet.
