41. The attitude you're denouncing is...sort of why I don't tell people I'm not fond of Jasmine. Oh, I don't hate her, but everyone else worships the ground she walks on and I'm sure I'd be yelled at for "hating the strong woman" if I went around telling just anyone I didn't like her. Thinking she's an anachronistic, defiant brat who relies on beauty instead of fighting fairly doesn't mean I'm misogynistic, because I am a woman and write decent female characters.

Yeah. I like Esmeralda and Mulan (even though Esmeralda is pretty, it seems to be more of a hindrance to her than anything else, she really doesn't *need* Frollo stalking her) but Jasmine? Um, no, can the entire Disney fandom stop kissing her ass for a second please?
