24. Sometimes I feel the same way, and it sucks because some of my favorite characters are Strong Women. Fucking misogynistic "feminists".

41. The "fandom is misogynist" argument loses its merit when you think of the fact that people are STILL bashing Mamoru and Shinji after all these years. Female bashing is more COMMON and people expect more from fictional women, but there's just as many male characters who get bashed for being pansies or getting in the way of another guy shacking up with the girl.
There's misogyny WITHIN fandom, definitely, but fandom as a whole isn't misogynistic.
That said, 24/41 OTP lol.
