I too would love to see him come back, even though I think it's very unlikely that he will. Still, it's Doctor Who after all, and stranger things have happened... (who thought Peter Capaldi would be back after his initial role in Fires of Pompeii?)

Remember when there were odds on Chris Addison being the next companion after Jenna left? I still really want that. Or the headcanon someone had of Seb being the AI for Missy's TARDIS. That would be pretty great too.
