This kinda happened to me when I was young. I started looking at this book, that described sexual relations in a way that not only made sex seem really unappealing, but made a fetish I had seem even worse. I sort of wish I hadn't read it.

*Lets curiosity get the better of common sense* The only place I can even find references to it in English (via Google) is on a site called cutedeadguys.net, which is...yeah, pretty much exactly what it says on the tin. XP Apparently it was an art site that specialized in really gross, gorey porn?

Yeah, that was it. Art and fiction of men tortured and killed. Phrases like "human leather" and "an instrument called Scissordick" were far from the worst of it.

Nope. I've always been of the opinion that for most kinks and fetishes there's a distinct separation of fantasy and reality. Most of the things I like in my fantasy are things I would never ever want to do in reality. Not even close.

I don't feel guilty for liking the idea of something but realizing that it's just that- an idea.

Well. I used to like some pretty rough porn, until I read some memoirs from women who had been in porn, and it turns out a lot of it was rough without warning or permission. I shouldn't have been surprised, but I was. Now I just...don't watch it, because I don't want to contribute page views or money to what might be actual abuse.
