That sucks. Is there anyway you could move some place cheaper?

Ask everybody you know for jobs. LinkedIn, your roommates, teachers, Facebook. Explain WHY you need a job real quick.

I don't know anything about taking out a loan, but it can't hurt to ask. Before you sign anything, talk to someone you trust about the terms and conditions. Your parents, regular bank, or maybe someone from the financial aid office might be good resources.
