I in no way, sense, form, or shape mean to imply that Christians are seriously persecuted or that this is a serious moral issue. I have simply always found things like that tasteless, unfunny, stupid, and pointless, even as an atheist. Also I've never been entirely comfortable with the logic you're using here, but fair go, it's not persecution in any sense.
