Sword Art Online

Anime. Sooo good, just binge watched the first season.

Will be a little while before I can get my hands on the second season, but the first is a complete storyline and I loved it.

lololol late as shit but the second season of this anime is really, really crap. especially if you liked Asuna in any way, shape, or form. I agree that the first season was pretty good though.

try Log Horizon, it's the shit, and also pretty much SAO with no permanent death condition and mostly the point is "shit, how do we make this work as an actual society with like laws and shit."

You should stop there honestly, like the flipthefrog said the second arc jumps the shark big time.

Though if you still have an itch for a solid action anime, maybe try Birdy the Mighty: Decode or Gurren Lagann instead. There's a couple other stuck in a MMO titles too (Log Horizon and .hack//SIGN) but I wasn't personally very fond of either.
