Oh my gosh oh my gosh I love Person of Interest so much I can hardly count the ways

First of all I love that it's still a fantastic action show that's completely capable of having badass action scenes. It's so good at intense action, especially for a broadcast show, and it's the base for everything else it does. It gets so tense and everyone is so badass I love it.

Second, I love the themes it's dealing with, and the fact that it's reasonably smart about them and adept at doing some science fiction stuff. With some exceptions obviously but I love that it's a show that rewards paying attention. And in particular I love that it uses some religious metaphors but does so in a thoughtful way. Especially the stuff with Root and faith and the contrast between her and Finch and it's so good.

Third I love that it's a legitimate ensemble show that can go to any character and do good stuff with them and where all the characters interact interestingly. I just love that I love every character. That's so rare but there's just no weak spots, everyone kills it.

Fourth I love Shaw and Root and it's just incredible to me that a show I already loved went and did this and then executed it so well and they're so cute and grouchy and deadly and sarcastic and it's great
