...But, like, music can made in many ways. And while I know it would be absolutely devastating for the instrument you're expert at suddenly not be available to you, that doesn't mean you can't make music again at all. Music is innately a part of you. The instrument is just a tool in the end.

But in the series, House's view point is constantly criticised to the point of ridiculousness (mostly because he never changes it, but that makes both sides ridiculous rather than pardoning the other), so I'm not sure where you got the idea that House's way was Right.
