I hadn't heard anything about her mom's response. Wow, that is fucked up. Calling her "he" and completely ignoring that that's what hurt her so much...shit.

Also, completely off-topic, but: is anyone else bothered by her (and others) who commit suicide by standing in traffic or anything similar that will automatically implicate another person? Whoever was driving that truck will live with this even for the rest of their life, and not in a good way.

yeah, that's pretty fucked up. I mean, committing suicide is always going to fuck with someone because some poor bastard is going to discover the body and probably freak out, but getting someone to kill yourself for you is just cruel.

Oh yeah, and the little obituary blurb talks about her as male, and uses her male name. It's really sad, she's going to be buried with a headstone that says Joshua. :/
