Yeah, it could be a troll, and I certainly hope it is. The vehemence of the wording and the particularly ridiculous use of misogynist slurs points that way, at least. But I've seen enough people express similar sentiments for real that I can't say for sure, blargh.

True. But if it is serious, that makes it even less worth dignifying. It's just blatantly ridiculous, especially the "be glad you've got it as good as you do" comment. I'm not going to waste my time because this is not the kind of person you could convince and, likely, would take any arguments as more proof of his claims. Internet assholes; gotta love 'em.

The use of "dumb bitches" and "cunts" and the stuff about hating women make me want to call troll... but I've seen quite a few people, both men and women, seriously arguing that because life is sexist you shouldn't complain when sexism occurs (wtf?) and that people who complain about sexism in fiction should be worried about women Iraq instead.

So I'm really not sure.

Yeah, I agree. Probably like a lot of people, I've read so much stuff that seems like parody or trolling that isn't that it just hurts to try and figure it out sometimes. x_x

I'd call troll, but I've known people who seriously believed things like that, and they weren't stupid people, just unbelievably thoughtless.

If it is a troll, I'll feel better about the universe on a whole, though.
