Ahaha, I was literally just talking with a friend from high school about how the older we get, the more we sympathize with Benny in "RENT!" Yes, bills suck, but let a brother do his job.

Plus, HE WAS OFFERING THEM A STUDIO. Like a high-quality production studio! For nothing! That, to me, proves that these little shits don't care about their art, they care about their oh-so-precious lifestyle, their fantasy vacation as poor people. They are literally offered a choice between making art and living like bums, and they emphatically pick the latter.

Still love the show, but dang.
