I agree. I miss fandom discussions on LJ, especially the comms. At least you had different comms for different things, which was organized.

Other than this place, sometimes I check out subreddits for specific shows, like Parks and Rec or Brooklyn 99, which is nice.

Ooo, fandom communities were the best. They still exist, but most of them aren't very active. Reddit does seem the better place to go if you're into discussion for a specific topic. (And it is pretty nice? Not quite the same, but still enjoyable. I wish DW or LJ would have a resurgence in popularity but I think we're past that point now.)
