DA - Oh, I hate that. Tumblr's a terrrible place for that because it's a young demographic full of people would rather be outraged than do their own research to check if something is true or not.

Yeah. Though I am really glad those kids found me knowledgeable enough to ask my opinion, so at least they TRIED to get a second opinion.

And to be fair, while it was SIMPLE to debunk it, it did require a little bit of ingenuity regarding database searches. I can't blame for Random Tumblr Kid to not want to risk getting charbroiled by stating something unpopular when they were already being painted as "the oppressor." It's a really easy Catch-22, because it implies that any skepticism you have is purely because of internalized bigotry, rather than... you know, reason.
